Homepage of Taneli Kalvas

I graduated from the University of Jyväskylä in the summer of 2004. I did my master thesis about the development of ECR Ion Sources for Irradiation Studies. I spent the next two and a half years in California, USA with my wife Kaisa and my daughter Ronja doing research on light ion sources, ion extractions and neutron generators in the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Currently I'm working again in the Department of Physics at the University of Jyväskylä with the Industrial Applications Group. You can see my curriculum vitae for more information about my professional life.

I have here some work related material:

Family and work are important for me of course, but sometimes I also find time for coding and other computer stuff. I'm also interested in rock-climbing, music and photography. I also do some electronics designing on my free time and if everything goes well I might also end up jogging, hiking or cross-country skiing.
