Other Contributions to Science
I have written and published a computer code, "Ion Beam
Simulator" or "IBSimu", for ion optics, plasma extraction and
space charge dominated ion beam transport using Vlasov iteration. The
code is available as open source to enable reviewing and to promote
scientific transparency
(http:://ibsimu.sourceforge.net/).
The code has reached a high status in the field. In addition to the 35
references to the paper (T. Kalvas et al., Rev. Sci. Instrum. 81, 02B703)
at least 5 Ph.D. theses have strongly relied on
IBSimu modelling.

of citations per item is 6.4 and the h-index is 10. A selection of 10
