How can we think of systems development?
Involves two types of processes
- conceptualization (representation of target systems in a complete / unambiguous ways)
- mapping (transformation of representations through a set of layers (abstraction levels) to achieve a complete functioning system (which has changed)
Systems development involves modeling in description languages (concepts, notations, modeling procedures)
