About Me

Hi! I am Vimal Vijayan, a computational astrophysicist at the University of Jyväskylä, and I spend most of my time simulating what happens when two neutron stars, i.e. some of the densest objects in the universe, spiral together and collide, and produce the heaviest elements in the Universe.

This page is a work in progress. I'll keep adding to it as things happen.
