Brief Bio

Majid Haghparast is an Associate Professor at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, and an IEEE senior member. From April 2017 to January 2018, he has conducted his sabbatical with Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria, where he was also a Research Fellow. He is an Associate Editor of the Cluster Computing (Springer), Journal of Computational Electronics (Springer), Optical and Quantum Electronics (Springer), and IET Quantum Communication (Wiley). He has been a supervisor/advisor of more than 10 Ph.D. and 150 M.Sc. theses. His focus is on Software Engineering, Quantum Software, Quantum Programming and Algorithms, where he has been involved in different projects.
