Hypermedia learning environments for mathematics:

Numerical Methods in World Wide Web:

So far the pages (only in Finnish) contain the Interpolation chapter of the course. It also has the following interactive examples:
• the visualization of the divided differences,
• few interpolation methods in the given points and
• the spline interpolation of a car.
The software has been made with LaTeX2HTML, CGI, Python and Gnuplot. The WWW-pages have been made by Matti Heinonen and Jarkko Närväinen. The content of the pages has been designed by Jukka-Pekka Santanen and Timo Tiihonen.

Interactive exercises in WWW:

Interactive volume exercises were generated by Mathematica as well as it was used to check the answers given by the user. Heikki Toivonen has developed the exercises for the WWW-material (only in Finnish) of the ''Introduction to (University Level) Mathematics'' course designed in the Hypermedialaboratory at the Technical University of Tampere.
