Research

Publications and preprints

My work is in mathematical analysis, geometry and applications. Research areas include:

• inverse problems for partial differential equations (applications in medical imaging)
• inverse problems in differential geometry (applications in seismic imaging)

Our research group is part of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Inverse Modelling and Imaging and of the Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging and Modelling (FAME). The group has been supported by an ERC Starting Grant and an ERC Consolidator Grant.

I am Managing Editor of the journal Inverse Problems and Imaging and Editor of Annales Fennici Mathematici, Journal de l'École Polytechnique and SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis.
