ABOUT ME

Profile Picture

I'm a master's student from University of Jyväskylä, majoring Mathematical Information Technology, specializing in Software and Telecommunication Technology.

As an IT student with a passion for full-stack development and game development, I am always eager to expand my skills and knowledge in the field of IT. I am proficient in programming languages such as Java, C# and JavaScript, and have experience in web development framework React.

My love towards video games and game development has driven me to explore the Unreal Engine and develop games as school projects, and I am excited to continue exploring this field.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my friends, swimming, hitting the gym and playing computer games.

An ASP.NET Core MVC web application that displays data from journeys made with city bikes in the Helsinki Capital area. The application was made as a pre-assignment for Solita Dev Academy Finland 2023.

Kanto Pokédex

Exercise for the Programming 2 (8 ECTS) course. Kanto Pokédex is an accounting application that allows you to keep track of the Pokémons you have caught and found. With this exercise we praticed object-oriented programming and the creation and working with relational data structures. Exercise was implemented by using Java.

Snappy Bird

This game was the second week assignment of an advanced information technology course called Game Technologies (3 ECTS). A copy of a very popular mobile game Flappy Bird. The game was developed with HTML5 game framework Phaser 3 using JavaScript.

Pong

This game was the first week assignment for Game Technologies. As the last game, we had to make a copy of the game known by everyone, Pong. This was my first game I've ever made using the Godot Engine.

The Diamond Mafia

On Game Project (5 ECTS) course, we created a computer game in a cross-disciplinary group of students. Purpose of this project was to learn the practical workflow of a project working and aspects of game development. The game was developed with Unreal Engine 4.

As a programmer in this project, my main responsibilities were AI and character development in addition to audio/sound programming.

Bachelor's Thesis: Game Theory as Part of the Video Game Design Process

MAY 2023

Finished writing my Bachelor's Thesis. The thesis examines the possibilities of utilizing game theory in the design process of video games.

Employment at Istekki

SUMMER 2023

I worked as an IT Technician at Istekki Oy during the summer 2023. The job description included installing and delivering Windows computers, printers and peripheral devices for the end users of The Wellbeing Services County of Central Finland (Keski-Suomen hyvinvointialue).

After the summer, I continued working in the technical support team, in the role of an IT Specialist.

Responsible Position as Chairperson of Linkki Jyväskylä ry

WINTER 2024

Linkki Jyväskylä ry is a non-profit student association for students of Mathematical Information Technology and many other subjects in University of Jyväskylä.

The role of the chairperson includes administrative duties such as organizing meetings and representing the association. Together with the welfare team, we promote the interests of information technology students. One of the most important tasks is to ensure that the association's action plan is being implemented.
