I am currently  Academy Research Fellow (Akatemiatutkija) with Academy of Finland, at the Department of Mathematical Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland, Research Project: “Algorithmic Design Issues in Memetic Computing”.


I am also  Assistant Professor (Yliassistentti, Senior Assistant) in Simulation and Optimization, with the Department of Mathematical Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland (on leave Sep 09 - today).
