Majid Haghparast is an Associate Professor at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, and an IEEE senior member. He leads the Quantum Programming and Algorithms Research Team (QPA Team). From April 2017 to January 2018, he conducted his sabbatical with Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria. He has supervised more than 10 Ph.D. and 150 M.Sc. theses, focusing on Software Engineering, Quantum Software, Quantum Programming and Algorithms.
We are an interdisciplinary team, focusing on quantum programming, algorithms, quantum software, quantum communication and security, multi-physics simulations, and quantum error correction. The QPA group is a branch of the larger QIC Team.
