Short bio

I received the MSc and DSc degrees in mathematics from Helsinki University of Technology, Finland, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. During 2006–2007 I went abroad for two years, first visiting Columbia University in the USA, and then Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica and Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. During 2008–2010 I was affiliated with Aalto University, Finland, and in the beginning of 2011 I started at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.

Applied and theoretical probability, coupling methods, stochastic stability, stochastic orders, computational methods, stochastic control, stochastic processing networks, spatial models, generalized random functions, self-similar random fields
