Can the required analysis be made using the models?
- For example, during workflow modeling, a demand to analyze bottlenecks may arise
- This is impossible if the models do not capture information about capacity and throughput times
- This suggests additions to the workflow modeling technique
Can alternative design solutions be generated from models?
- A method should include rules which allow the conversion of models into various design alternatives by using the metamodel data.
- E.g. diagonalization in BSP to find system architectures, or communication matrix to find interaction paths between workers
