Evaluating methods influence
Methods evolve because the requirements and the environment evolves, e.g.
- UML 0.9….. UML 1.3
- NTC’s OMT, OMT+, OMT++, OMT++/UML
- Application specific methods evolve as the requirements for the application change
Companies needs criteria to evaluate how well the methods engineered are actually used
- compare metamodels and models
- compare intention to the actual use
