Method integration
3. Concept based (Leppänen et al. 1995):
1. Equivalence
- referring elements in different methods are same type
- an entity in an enterprise-wide datamodel is also an entity in a logical structure of a data base (cf. vertical consistency), or an instance of class (object) in class diagram is also an object in an object diagram.
2. Polymorphism
- an element in one method is related to some other element (of different type) in another method (correspondence, subset, intersection)
- a flow (or data store) in a DFD diagram can refer to an entity in an ER diagram.
