Summary of article "Russia Of Value Vacuum"
Russian Academician Dmitri Likhachov gave the interview that remained his last one, to a Finnish weekly magazine "Suomen Kuvalehti". The inter-view was given in St. Petersburg in May 1999. Academician Likhachov, "Russia's conscience", died in the same summer. The last interview that he gave gives some ideas of Russia, from an eminent Russian point of view, in the very eve of the hollow series of events that started in Russia in July 1999, leading to a second Chechen holocaust, and take-over of a regime rooted in the State Security Committee (KGB/FSB). The interview was originally published in "Suomen Kuvalehti", issue 25-26/1999.
