  • I am Professor of Industrial Optimization at the University of Jyväskylä.
  • I am the vice-rector of the University of Jyväskylä
  • I was Visiting Professor (part-time) at the Division of Optimization and Systems Theory of the Department of Mathematics at KTH, Sweden from September 2011 till July 2012
  • I study and develop interactive methods and software for multiobjective optimization
  • I am also interested in nonlinear programming, optimization sofware and multiple criteria decision making as well as evolutionary algoritms and hybrid methods
